Book Review: Hitler's Daughter

The book Hitlers daughter is a historic fiction about a girl named Heidi who is a daughter of Hitler's. Heidi is a kind girl who does not know how bad here father is. In the book Heidi calls here father Duffi ,two things about Heidi is that she is defiantly not at all like the perfect race Hitler was trying to make she was the complete opposite of Hitler's perfect race. Heidi is a short girl with one leg bigger than the other brown with red blocthes and a red blotch on her face in the shape of a fabric iron.

A boy named mark also plays a big role in the book. Mark is a Yong boy who is a friend of Anna's, listening to this story that she made up. In the book, mark starts asking questions to adults around him. Mark is one of the supporting character's.

The story of Hitler's Daughter is made up by a girl named Anna living in Australia. Anna introduces her "story" game to four boy's in the begging of the the book. Anna has a little brother named Little Tracey who is one of the four boys. Anna tells the story to the four boys at the school bus stop in Australia every morning for about two weeks.

The way this book relates to me is that I like history and I like two ask questions, like Mark. I would suggest this book to a person who's likes historic fiction. This book is definitely light reading. It is not really an action book or a thriller. I would say that the book is more of a novel. This book does not talk about Hitler that much.

A History Fanatic

I am a total history lover. I love all sorts of history, such as the World Wars, and fashion. I live for history and it lives for me. History is my life. I love history so much that I learned almost all of my family history. My most favorite part of history is the Revolutionary War, and colonial times.

I like the colonial times because my most favorite historic character lived during that time. My favorite historic character is Ben Franklin. I like Ben Franklin because he is a good example of some one who was a nobody and became a somebody. Ben Franklin is a good example that you can teach your self academics and you can teach your self with out a teacher. That's why I like the colonial times.

Book Review: Fever 1793

The book Fever 1793 is about a girl named Matilda Cook who lives in Pittsburg Pennsylvania during an outbreak of yellow fever. Matilda faces many hardships in the book. In the beginning of the book Matilda is like a childish character. As she progresses through the book you can kind of see her make a huge jump from childhood to adulthood.

The character that influences Matilda is an orphan girl named Nell. Matilda chooses to look after Nell because she to knows what its like not to have someone to look after her. Looking after Nell teaches Matildia how to be responsible. Matilda transforms from a self-centered child to a responsible adult. In less than a year Matilda has made a drastic change. In the end Matilda gets to raise Nell.

I liked the book because it shows the hardships of loseing grandparents. The thing in the book that I can relate to in the book Fever 1793 is Matilda loseing her grand father because I to lost my grandmother. I and Matilda both lost a grandparent that was close to our hearts. I would suggest this book to a kid who ether was adopted or lost a grandparent or who loves history.
